• We don't store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

Information We Access

Scanit may access your device camera to scan documents, as well as photos, images, and PDF files that you choose to import for scanning or editing. All files are processed strictly locally on your device.

Data Sharing

Scanit does not sell, rent, upload, or share your scanned documents, images, PDF files, or their contents with third parties. All processing is done locally on your device.

100% Private & Zero Cloud

Scanit operates with a strict zero-cloud policy. This means your scans and documents are processed entirely locally on your device. We do not upload your sensitive files to any external server.

Security

Because scanned documents are processed and stored locally on your device, Scanit does not maintain a server-side copy of your documents. You are responsible for securing access to your device and locally stored files.

Data Retention

Because we do not transmit your data to the cloud, any information stored is strictly kept on your device. If you delete the app, any local data stored by the app may be permanently removed depending on your OS behavior.
